April 2, 2012. He was born to the late
Daniel and Frances Shepherd on February 15,
1931 in Petaluma, CA.
A longtime resident of Jacksonville, he retired
from the US Navy as a photographer and was
a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints.
His sense of humor and kind and loving nature
will be missed by his friends and family.
Family members include his sons, Donald W.
(Kim) Shepherd, Jr., Ronald (Sue), Richard
(Carol) and Randy (Melody) Baker. Daughters
Velda Gauge and Glenda (Dan) Olejniczak,
brother Dennis (Mimi) Shepherd, and
15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his first wife Francis,
late wife Flonnie and brother Roger Shepherd.
