have a memory or condolence to add?

To the family and friends of my Uncle Donald, I want to extend my deepest sympathies. Like you I am also grieving our loss. But there is one memory I would like to share with you.

We were at Gold Head lake at a family gathering. All the kids were in the water having fun, the adults were setting up the food and getting the "eats" ready. The hot dogs and hamburgers were cooking and smelling great. I looked up out of the water and see Uncle Don and my dad with their fishing poles headed to a quieter spot. After a little while my curiosity got the better of me and I went to find them. They were sitting on the bank and had already caught a few fish. They were flopping around in the cooler. I went to grab one and Uncle Don said, "be careful, they'll cut you." I grabbed one and one of its fins stuck my hand. It hurt, a lot. He looked at me and said, "told ya." He had that little smirk on his face. That is the very first memory I have of him that I can remember.
