Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Roger Ditter and Helen (Worthy) Ditter and her brother, Paul Ditter.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Krueger Sr, with whom she was together for over 40 years, her siblings, Teri Thurner (Joe), Mike Ditter, Janine Laffranchini (Frank), Jodi Ditter-Toro, and numerous nieces and nephews, who shared countless memories and laughter with her throughout the years. She will be fondly remembered by her stepchildren, Barbara Hurst (Troy) and Jeff Krueger Jr,(Shannon) and her adoring grandchildren Jeffery Krueger III, Evan Hurst, Jacob Krueger and Jackson Hurst.
Donna was known for her sharp wit and was never afraid to speak her mind or share a hearty laugh with those around her. She loved her Dallas Cowboys, her never-ending cow collection and Elvis! She was a force in life, always ready for the next adventure, always willing to lend a helping hand or share a kind word when it was needed most.
She leaves behind a legacy of strength and resilience that will continue to inspire those who knew her. While one heart transplant may hold back the average person, two heart transplants did not slow Donna down. She enjoyed traveling, camping, bowling, and living life to the fullest with family and friends.
Donna Louise Krueger's impact on the lives of those who knew her is immeasurable, and she will be deeply missed. As we say our final goodbyes, let us remember the strength, humor, and love she shared with all of us. May her spirit live on in our hearts and memories forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Donna's name to the National Foundation for Transplants, as this cause held a special place in her heart, literally.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held at Hardage-Giddens 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32205 on February 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM, where friends and family will gather to share stories and pay their respects.
