Donna Lee McRae

Donna had a traditional upbringing with her brother Jack in their suburban community in her younger years.

She moved to Florida around 1970 where she had a previous marriage and child David. She later met her sweetheart Scott.The two fell in love and were married on July 26, 1994 creating the blended family that she cherished.

Donna was a Christian woman who loved the Savior and had great faith. After marrying her sweetheart she learned about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was baptized in the Spring of 2002. Donna and Scott were later sealed in the Orlando Temple for time and all eternity on October 18, 2003.

Donna lived a full life. She never met a stranger. She loved everyone she ever talked to, and was a friend to many. She loved to travel, especially to the mountains. She was a devoted member of several car clubs. It was a real honor and delight for her to show off the cars that Scott worked so hard on.

Despite the outcome of any negative situation, Donna was always optimistic. She maintained a since off perseverance, and often declared that someone else was worse off, and then prayed for them.

Her motto was "If it's meant to be, it'll be." She was a firm believer that God would make a way for things to be as they should, and encouraged others to be optimistic the same way.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Beatrice and David. She is survived by her Brother Jack Jobes (Annie), her Husband James Scott McRae Sr, her son David Anderson (Sarah), her two step sons James Scott McRae Jr, Brandon McRae (Joanna) and her Brother Jack Jobes (Annie). She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Daniel and Mickaela and many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Donna passed away surrounded by loved ones on Monday September 14, 2026 at 9:04 pm.

Visitation will be held at Riverside Event Pavilion, 1373 Memorial Park Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, US, on September 21, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Riverside Event Pavilion, 1373 Memorial Park Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, US, on September 22, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, US, on September 22, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
