Dorothy "Dot" Marie Browning, age 93, of Fleming Island, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Dot was born July 17, 1928. She was born July 17, 1928 in College Park, GA to Willard Jones McConnell and Lucille Bryant McConnell. She married Austin A. Browning on April 3, 1948 and they raised three sons. Dot was a homemaker, Walmart shopper and enjoyed arranging flowers.
She was preceded in death by husband Austin Anthony Browning.
She is survived by sons, Gary A. Browning and wife, Edna, Craig W. Browning and wife, Sharron, and Dale S. Browning and wife, Marcie; grandson, Michael Browning and wife Lynn; granddaughter, Tara Browning; grandson, Paul Browning; granddaughter, Denise Browning; grandson, Kenneth Browning and wife Kim; and grandson, Christopher Browning and wife Carrie; also seven great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 11am until 12pm at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12pm. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
