Dorothy Jammes Douglas, 69 of Jacksonville passed away peacefully on May 10, 2013. Dorothy is preceded by her parents; Thelma Bragg and John Henry Jammes. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years George Douglas; brother; John O.L. Jammes (Sandra), nieces; Melody Jammes Strickland (Stephen) and Miriam Diane Newell (Michael). Dorothy will be remembered for her love of family, kind smile, and determining spirit. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax., FL. 32205. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May, 14, 2013 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church located at 9900 103rd Street, Jax. FL 32210. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held at 4:00 pm at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax., FL 32205.
