Dorothy Carolyn Martens passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026 in Jacksonville, Fl. She was born on January 15, 1941 in Thomaston, GA to Roy J. Cochran and Edeth B. Cochran. Dorothy graduated from St. Augustine High School, St. Augustine, Fl with the Class of 1962. She married Edward Albert Martens on April 3, 1994. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Dorothy enjoyed board games, crafting, travel and especially cruising. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Edeth Cochran, husband Edward Albert (Marty) Martens and step-grandchild Kevin Bowman. She is survived by her sisters Beth Tuten, Jean Brightwell (Art), step-daughter Kay Robarts, step-grandchildren Chad Bowman and Stacy Hall, step-great grandchildren Katrina, Eyrn & C.J. Bowman and Raelynn Bond, nephews Donald Tuten (Michelle Cook), Bryan Tuten (Teresa), Gary Brightwell, niece Brenda Pickett (Michael), great-nieces Ashley and Madison Tuten, Carlie & Kaiya Borgert, great-nephews Cody and Colby Borgert, Ben Pickett (Savannah), Jake Pickett (Taylor) great-great nephews Jackson Pickett and Luke Pickett and cousin Reverend Larry Partain.

Visitation being held on Monday, October 26, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.
