CPO Earl Rufus Funk passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018. He was 96 years old and was born Jan. 8, 1922 in Niagara Falls, NY. Enlisted in the navy in June of 1941 and served his country in WW2 and Korea and retired in 1962. He lived in Jacksonville, FL with his wife Ida.
He is survived by 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Graveside Services are to be held Tuesday, February 21, 2018 at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N. Jacksonville, FL 32225. at 2:00 p.m. with viewing an hour before in the chapel.
