Earl Scott Hicks, Sr., 79, of Orange Park, passed away on January 17, 2014 at home. Mr. Hicks was born in Waldo, Florida to the late Vernon Scott and Zeoveta (Waters) Hicks. He was a longtime resident of the Jacksonville area and a retired disabled Army veteran. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 8 years, Lillie; three sons, Earl Scott Hicks, Jr, Alan Todd Hicks and Paul Gregory Hicks; his daughter, Terry Lynn Thomas; three step-daughters; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205 www.townandcountryfuneralhome.com. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
