NIPPER Edith Nipper, 98, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 8, 2016. She was born on December 29, 1917 and was predeceased by her husband, Frank W. Nipper and her daughter, Sandra Carolyn Myers. She is survived by her sons Frank Edward Nipper (Julia Marilyn Nipper) and James L. Nipper (Cheryl L. Nipper), and daughter June Marie Begley (Jesse Begley), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Edith was a strong and stalwart Christian lady who embodied the spirit of Jesus Christ and his omnipotent power and love. As a long-time former member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Jacksonville (now Harvest Ministries), Edith Nipper raised her children to love the Lord and adhere to his teachings. Funeral services officiated by the Reverend Noel Roberts of Bethel Temple Assembly of God will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 1 p.m. with visitation at 12 noon, at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Interment will be at Riverside Memorial Park.
