Edith Virginia Potter, 92, of Jacksonville passed away on April 29, 2012.Virginia is preceded by her husband of 25 years John Potter, Sr., parents Thomas and Edith Flinn, sisters, Betty Richardson and Dorothy Ciecelski. Virginia is survived by her son, John Potter (Jima), brother, Thomas William Flinn (Shirley) sisters, Evelyn Stevens and LaRue Merson, and granddaughter Judy Marie Siersema (Michael). Virginia was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served many positions in the church, including, visiting teacher, compassionate service and served as the librarian for 22 years. Virginia will be remembered for her kind smile, compassionate heart, and determining spirit. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax., Fl 32205. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 5100 Firestone Road, Jax., FL . Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax., FL 32205. Bishop Donald Oldfield officiating.
