

She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and had resided in Jacksonville since 1964. Mrs. Smith graduated from Florida Community College (now FSCJ). She was married to her first husband, Charles Lloyd Smith, on November 20th, 1943 until his passing in 1996. She was married to her second husband, Andreas Fenyoedy, until her passing. Mrs. Smith was the owner of Lucky S nursery for 25 years and was elected president of the Northeast Chapter of the Florida Nurserymen & Growers Association two times. She had a passion for plants and flowers.
She has been preceded in death by her father, John Lawrence Kraning, her mother, Gertrude Virginia Kraning (nee Isaacs), her brother, Louis Kraning, her sister, Nancy Bolander.
Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons, Trebor Lloyd of New York City and Kenneth Smith of Jacksonville, Florida as well as her adopted great grandson, Christopher Smith of Jacksonville, Florida. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Christy Smith of Grand Lake, Colorado and Douglas Smith of Jacksonville, Florida as well as 4 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:00 a.m. October 10th at Restoration Baptist Church, 9714 Ridge Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32208.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Restoration Baptist Church for the creation of a memorial garden "in honor of Edna Elizabeth Smith".
