Elizabeth Louise Harden

Elizabeth Louise Harden passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2013, at her daughter JoAnn’s home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 16, 1932 to Harry Stephen Harrison and Eula Louise Crawford in Savannah Georgia. Louise was one of 9 children, 3 sisters and 5 brothers and loved her family. Louise was raised by her step mother Rena Harrison due to the death of her mother. Louise married William (Bill) Benson Harden March 17, 1953 and had a happy life until his death in 2008. She is predeceased by her father Harry, mother Eula, stepmother Rena, brother’s Harry, Carl and Summie, sister’s Mary, Evola and Aileen and her beloved husband Bill. Survivors are her brothers Bucky (Helen) and Roy, daughters Linda (Michael) Hanning, JoAnn Harden, Harriet (Chuck) Byrd, and Lori (George) Robinson, grandchildren Jonathan Hanning, Ashley Hanning, Chuck Byrd, Lori Byrd, Tiffany (Chris) Markham, Lauren Robinson and Jenny Robinson. Great Grandchildren are Joshua Hanning, Seth Hanning, Evan Hanning, Ethan Hanning, Nicholas Markham, Christian Markham and Ansley Markham. She will be missed every day by her family and many friends. The family will receive guests at a Memorial service to be held Saturday June 15, 2013, from 1-2 PM, with a fellowship event provided by the family to follow at 2 pm at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, located at 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jax. Fl. 32205. In lieu of flowers the request family requests donations be made to the Earl Hadlow Hospice center.
