Erla Marie Cox, age 68, passed away Wednesday July 8, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL. Erla was born October 4, 1946 in Jacksonville, Florida to Charles S. and Marie (Gatcomb) Perkins. She was preceded in death by her mother, son William Conklin, grandson Jordyn T. Goosby, brother Ralph Sherwood Perkins. Erla was a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church. She retired from the City of Jacksonville where she worked in the Building and Zoning Department. She enjoyed quilting, bead work making jewelry and crafts. Erla will be missed dearly her loving husband of 20 years; son Joseph Goosby; daughters Amanda Hoffer and Angela Abzun; brothers Timothy Sherwood Perkins and Charles Randy Perkins; sisters Deborah and April; and eleven grandchildren.
