A retired naval crewman and postal worker, Nick was a friend to many and all, never ceasing to talk about the things he loved, from the Florida State Seminoles football team to his Navy career or his beloved family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sondra “Sonnie” Mulich and is survived by his mother, Betty Mulich, his sister, Sharon Ulrich, his daughter, RoSondra Reynolds, and his grandchildren, Joshua and Reese Reynolds. Betty and Sharon live in Nick’ hometown of Kansas City, Kansas, while Ro, her husband Jeremy, and Reese live in the Houston area of Texas.
Nick grew up in Kansas, where he attended Ward High School. After his first stint in the Navy he married his sister's best friend from high school, Sonnie. He served in the Navy for two separate stints, stationed across the U.S. as a P-3 crew member. His last duty station, Jacksonville, Florida, is where Nick and Sonnie settled down with their daughter Ro and remained there for the rest of their lives. Avid travelers, the couple drove across the nation in a motorhome visiting friends and family on a regular basis.
The family will hold a virtual service where family and friends can attend and recall stories of Nick and laugh and love in his memory.
