She has two living sisters, the eldest is Ellen Warren and the youngest Charlotte Dobbs. She also has one
living son, James Horton along with a much longer list of colorful characters she called family.
Ethel was a strong willed woman who stood aside for no one, was not afraid to speak her mind and
certainly not afraid to face any obstacle head on. That's what people loved about her though,
the independent nature that she wore on her sleeve. She was a great woman, a wonderful person
to have around and she will most definitely be missed by all who were blessed to know her.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11am at
Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
