She was born on November 21, 1918 in Jacksonville, Florida to Mr. & Mrs. Jesse J. Harvey. She was a homemaker and a member of Arlington Baptist Church. Mrs. McQuaig’s family had resided in North Florida/Southeast Georgia since the seventeen hundreds.
She was predeceased by her husband Haines H. McQuaig and daughter Mary West.
She is survived by her son David McQuaig and wife Patricia; sister Dorothy Halliburton; 5 grandchildren Darcy McQuaig and wife Christi; Robert McQuaig; Tracey Hungerford and husband Robert; Tina Williams and husband Chris; Travis West and wife Charity; 6 great-grandchildren Erica, Carter, Maya, Chloe, Caitlyn and Julia; son-in-law James West; nephews William Halliburton, Jr. and James Halliburton.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, October 7, 2010.
Funeral service will be 2:00PM Friday, October 8, 2010 all located at Town and Country Funeral Home 7242 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
Burial will follow to Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Florida.
