I worked with Skip for over 15 years. We shared golf at the Electrician's Tournaments many times. I will miss his laughing at me for hitting so many balls in the water while he knocked his in the woods. He was a man who was a leader and surrounded himself at work with people of the same statue. He shared his knowledge of business and grew his team in Jacksonville to be one of the best I ever worked with in my life. He was a good friend for years and I will never forget  his wit and humor to keep everybody in line. Honest hard working leaders like Skip were few and very far in between. I will miss him!

My sincere condolences to Skip's family and co-workers. Although I only knew Skip through work it was readily apparent that he was greatly respected and a true professional.

To Vivian, Gwen, and family.  My brother, Eddie just told me today of Skipper's passing.  Skipper and I shared the same birthday, October 16th although not the same year.  I have so many memories of him and the family, sleep overs with Vivian, sand lot baseball, the skating rink on weekends (seemed like we lived there for a while), and Skipper's loyalty to the New York Yankees.  I have thought of him many times over the years and on my last birthday Eddie told me he was also going to call Skipper.  This is a great loss for you, I'm sure, but also a loss for those of us who grew up in Riverview and loved Skipper and his shenanigans.  I hope to remember him as that smiling, joking kid who always had something to say or do to make us laugh.  God bless your family.  He will be greatly missed.

I WORK ED W/  Skip for many years at Bell. Not a const. Problem we did not solve together. A man of high character, smart ,caring and a dear friend. I loved  him. He was a brother! Jan & I will not be able to attend due to recent  surgery. Our hearts are with you, and know Sklp is now home. "Rest thy good and faithful servant!!!"

Skip was a good friend and all around great guy.  He never complained to me about how he was feeling the last couple of years.  I will always remember our last two meetings. First, having lunch with Skip and Dorsey Brown and the second, just having coffee and conversation.  He was one heck of a pool shark in his day.  I will miss you my friend.

What an honor it was for my family to have known Skip. He had the kindest and most giving heart of any man I have ever known. Our prayers go out to Vivian and Conway, Shannon, Josh and Devon and the rest of the family. I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the "posts" written about Skipper - they made me smile, learning about what a GREAT person he was and that his personality/sense of humor never changed from when we were kids.  Sometimes it seems like yesterday that we were  skipping school to play pool and go to "Blue Boys."  Shhhh - don't tell anyone!  

I've missed SO much not living close enough to really "keep in touch," but cherish the memories of our childhoods together.

I have known and worked with Skip for 14 years. He was a faithful husband, loyal friend, and beloved father. He always had a smile and a great attitude about life. We would do well to have more people like Skip in this world. He will be greatly missed.

Life was never dull when Skip was around!!  He will truely be missed by so many!  I will never be able to watch a UF vs UGA football game without thinking of Skip and Glenn Bennett.  I'm sure Glenn was waiting for Skip at the pearly gates with a big GO DAWGS!!  Cherish the memories!

I met Skip almost 20 years ago on a job in Orlando. He had the most infectious laugh which could be heard throughout the building. His sense of humor will be missed as will his kindness. I don't think I will ever be able to eat BBQ and not think of Skip.

I sure did enjoy working with Skip. He could brighten your day by accident. You are in a better place and we will all miss you.

I will always rememberSkipper,growing up   in Rivervoew through Ribault,   then being stationed with him in England in the Air Force at RAF Alcombury, he kept the F-      4's flying! May God bless Skip and his family.

My Prayers of Strength/comfort go out to the Eberling/Dennison families at this time. Skip was an original...In my life I have never met an individual that possessed all the charm,genuine care,  wit, intelligence,humor, lust for life, and the list goes on and on.  He was a great pleasure to work for, and would defend you without any question.  He loved and cared for many, and was always concerned with your health and that of your family's. He was taken too soon, but those that had the privilege to be associate with him benefited from that relationship.

I am writing to offer my sincere condolences on the passing of Mr. Skip. I pray that the almighty God have mercy on his sole, and I also pray that his memory be eternal.
