This beautiful and most wonderful angel returned to the arms of her Maker, and as a family we celebrate her return to the Kingdom of God and an entire host of angels applauding her return home. She was so much more than an aunt to all she left behind. We remember vividly summers spent between Birmingham, Alabama and Houston, Texas as she often visited for many weeks and mothered all of us both directly and indirectly. She had a cunning way of using positivity to coax us all into doing what she felt was in our best interest, from eating well to exercising after a large middle eastern feast. If the feeling of love took human form it would look just like her. Farha was the last of her nuclear family and now joins her parents and all of her siblings in that beautiful place of eternal peace, promised to all of those who believe in Christ our Lord. She loved her family and friends in a way that was so authentic and unique to her and her brilliant personality. There was never a conversation had with her that did not end with a warm wish for many blessings to anyone she spoke with and she truly will be sorely missed, especially by Bader and Jannette who she lived with her entire life. These two relatives of ours are to be warmly commended in true Arab spirit for taking such great care of all of our aunts until they finally reached their resting place. Farha was never married and never had kids but it was no secret in our family that we truly all materialized her and thought of her as a second Mom. She had a special way of making us all do what she said and she actually made us want to.
She is preceded* in death by many nephews and nieces and survived by many more who all feel this loss so deeply. Farha Bajalia will never be forgotten by Bader, Jannette, Silvia, Violette, Nadia, Hilda, Khanian*, Bassam*, Soleh*, Hanna, George, Suaid*, Susan, Saliba, Sammy, Issa, Jerry, Issam, and Jawad. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and nephews, and we are all encircled and protected by the impactful impressions and invaluable lessons she imparted throughout our childhood. As we all enter a spirit of reflection and contemplation let us all remember the beautiful times we shared with this amazing aunt of ours and think of her as someone we look forward to meeting again in the Kingdom of Heaven. Let us never forget the life lessons we learned but most of all we will never forget her love. May she rest in peace and may be her memory be a blessing.
