Frankie P Barnes, age 79, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born November 27, 1935 in Cash Corner, North Carolina to Andrew and Vera (Potter) Barnes. Frankie was a retired veteran of the United States Navy in 1987. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Pensacola, FL. He enjoyed spending hours fishing and working in his yard. Frank will be missed dearly by his daughters Audrey Tompkins (Tim), Millie Woodward (Charles), Wanda Chasez (Adan) , and Lori Williams; sister Betty Jane Purser; grandchildren Tina, Crystal, Cadan, Brittney, Caleb, Brandon, Brooke, Dyllan, Jacob, Cassadie, Codie, Gwendolyn. Family will receive friends and family 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday July 2, 2015 at Hardage- Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, www.townandcountryfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday July 3, 2015 at Garden View Baptist Church, 3139 Armsdale Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
