Gary I remember the first time we met when you brought Savannah to my sister Teri’s house the first time. You looked nervous for Savannah but at ease at the same time. We grew to love her as our own and would protect her as you would. 2nd time when Savannah gave birth to our granddaughter Alex. Which will bind us forever. We all sat in that maternity ward as family with no division what so ever waiting on our pure blessing Alex,  now like now as we await her baby brother. We hugged 2 weeks ago like brother and sister at granny’s home going. I respect you and love you and promise to protect our Savannah, Alex  and Cory. Rest in Paradise Gary

My husband Danny Peavy Jr and I had the honor to meet Gary several times through our good friend Taylor. Gary was such a geniune nice guy. His face would light up when he talked about his dog (sorry I can't remember his name) but Gary showed us how the dog loved butterflies, and chasing shadows all day. It was so funny to watch. I also knew Gary loved my friend Taylor very much. He was always so sweet and kind to her and us and everyone he met. This is such a sad situation, but he will always watch over his daughter and grandson and Taylor and the rest of the family and friends he loved. He always had a smile on his face, and I never heard him say a bad thing about anyone. We are praying for all of his family, friends and Taylor. He maybe gone, but he will never be forgotten. We send our condolences!

Gary where to start !! Your such a great guy , you were such a great influence on my life. when I was younger you and savanna took me to the skate park and to eat , and y’all taught me how to ride a dirt bike lol just wanna say thank you , thank you for all the good vibes , the good laughs , and the great memories. You will be truly missed 💙

My condolences to the family. Gary was a great guy and will be truly missed. He was my mom's hero. My mom, who is 94 yrs old, lost her 2nd son to an illness last year at Thanksgiving. As a result, she inherited his cat. When the cat climbed to the top of a tree last year during a storm and would not come down, my mom was panicked.  This was the last remnant of my brother's memory. When I told Gary the story, he offered to rescue the cat which he did. It wasn't a short tree either. He saved the cat and will always be a hero to my mom. This exemplifies what a good man he was. 

Gary was a remarkable individual, No one like him. He was a big inspiration in our lives from the time we first met and still today. His spirit and energy will live forever in our heart and thoughts. Heaven has surely gained a great angel. 

Gary was such a good friend, father and grandpa.  My heart aches as I think back to all the summers we spent on his back porch just talking. My husband and I will miss him terribly. We love you Gary,  you were always there for us. 

It's a sad loss. He will be missed. Gary was a great Dad and grew into a great adult.
