

MILONAS - George Milonas, 79, passed away March 11, 2012. A resident of Jacksonville since 1984, he was the owner of Chat-N-Chew restaurant for 21 years and worked for the Cobblestone Publix in the produce department for the past 10 years. Mr. Milonas also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Ann; daughters, Michelle Baldwin (Ray) and Elizabeth Smith (Michael); son, Michael Milonas (Tammy); brother, James Milonas of NJ; grandchildren; Melissa (Brian), Jennifer, Christopher, Jimmy, Zachary, Helanea, Caitlin, Nicholas and Allison; great-grandchildren; Elexa, Liberty and Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012, at St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church. Interment will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
A trisagion service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 N. St. Johns Bluff. N. The family will receive friends until 8:30 p.m.
