George E. O’Quinn, 91 passed away peacefully at home on December 6, 2014. He was born May 14, 1923 in Shiloh, FL. He has lived in Dinsmore for the past 60 years after moving here from Baxley, GA. He owned and operated O’Quinn Truck Lines from the late 1950’s until he retired in 1987. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Myrtle P. O’Quinn also survived by his children Ricky, Carolyn (Wesley) Magursky, grandchildren Michael Magursky, Cathy Crews, Lisa and Derrick O’Quinn and great grandchildren K.P and Amanda Crews and sister Annette Brantley. He was predeceased by his parents C.C. and Alice Huskey O’Quinn and son Robert Edward O’Quinn, brothers Vernon, Jimmy and Alvah Lynn. The family will receive friends at Hardage Giddens Edgewood Chapel, 729 South Edgewood Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32205 (904) 388-2711 on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
