George E. Skelton, 67, passed away January 17, 2014 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was an avid motorcyclist and rode with the N. E. Florida Retreads. He also enjoyed flying radio controlled planes with the Radio Control Club of Jacksonville. His most recent passion was a 1994 Cobra Mustang convertible which he enjoyed taking to car shows.
George was a great husband and dad. He is survived by Diane, his wife of 42 years, children, Dennis and Karen and 3 granddaughters. He is also survived by his brother Wayne. George was preceded in death by his brothers Ed and Kenneth and sister Lois.
Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N, Jacksonville, Fl. 32225. (904) 641-9755. Family will receive friends Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 4-6 pm at Chapel Hills. A funeral service will be held Monday January, 20, 2014 at the same location at 1:00 pm.
