George E. Teigland, age 84, passed peacefully on August 25, 2022. He is survived by his wife Beverly of 64 years, daughter Vicki (George), son Rick (Terri), and 5 grandchildren: John, Celia, Ethan, George, and Shelby. He is also survived by 2 of his siblings, sister Lucille and brother Leonard.
George was born in Minnesota on March 3, 1938 to parents Silas and Minnie Teigland. He served in the Navy for 20 years, enjoyed spending time with his family, serving his church and was a member of the Sons of Norway.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that any donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (act.alz.org). A service will be held Friday, September 2nd at 10:00 AM at St. Andrews Lutheran Church by-the-sea, 1801 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.
