George Ray Whittaker, age 84, passed away November 15, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida. George was born on June 10, 1932 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather; he will be missed by many.
Survivors include his loving wife, Geraldine; four daughters Doris, Paula, Kathy, and Sue; grandchildren Melanie, Barbara, Bobby, Jacob, Justin, Michael, Noah, Shelly, Ashley, Megan, Nathan, and Mason; great-grandchildren Brittany, Madison, Eric, Emily, Fay, Falean, Hailey, Michael, JR., Bailey, Mia, Catherine, and Austin; son-in-laws Johnny and Matt; and grandson-in-laws Rob, Michael, SR., James, and Ryan.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00am at Lakeshore Baptist Church, 2365 Blanding Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32210. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday beginning at 10:00am. George will be laid to rest at Riverside Memorial Park.
