Geraldine U. Ludden, 94, passed away October 11, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born October 5, 1920 in Juliette, GA to John and Clara Ussery Sr. Geraldine was a wiz at crossword puzzles and loved to paint. She had 10 green thumbs and could grow a plant out of a stick. She graduated from high school on June 2, 1938. Geraldine retired from both Blue Cross & Blue Shield of FL as well as American Heritage Life. She is survived by three sons David (Nancy) Greene Jr., John J. Ludden, Scott (Terra) Ludden, one daughter Roberta “Robin” (Jay) Fogle, one sister Alice (Jack) Detloff, one brother Donald (Kay) Ussery, five grandchildren Rick (Sandy) Wynn, Jonathan P. (Lisa) Greene, Colin A. (Brandi) Greene, Jamie L. (Tyler) Thigpen, Brian J Ackerman (Travis Henderson), Savanna P. Ludden, and five great-grandchildren Ashley Wynn, Quest Rogers, Ava Rogers, Harrison Greene and Avery Greene. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm in the chapel. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 10:00am.
