Gregory Lamont Howard, 46, was born in Oakland, California and passed away June 21, 2017 in Ely, Nevada. He attended Skyline High School and later attended the Seafarers Harry Lundeberg School of Seamanship in Piney Point, Maryland. He became a member of the Seafarer’s International Union and started a career as a merchant seaman. In addition, he became a member of the masonic organization.
Gregory had a great passion for motorcycle riding and his family. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. On January 9, 2002, he married his wife, Delana, and they had three children, Jaylen, Jordan and Joshua. He is survived by his parents, Milton (Geraldine) Howard of Oakland, CA; his wife, Delana Howard of Jacksonville, FL; his sons, Jaylen, Jordan and Joshua of Jacksonville, Florida; his brothers, Glen (Debbie) Howard of Henderson, NV and Michael (Marie) Howard of Oakland, CA; along with several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
