Hattie Faye Summerford, 98, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born February 29, 1916 to Charlie and Hattie Harbin in Quincy, FL. She was a member of First Baptist Church Jacksonville. Faye loved to work in their garden and cook for her family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years James Robert Summerford. Hattie is survived by her two children, Jerry (Barbara) Summerford, Ina Ray (Roy) Rogers, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 10:00am in the chapel with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
