Herman Leslie Lee, age 87, passed away June 11, 2024. Herman was born on April 20, 1937 in Braggadocio, MO to Leslie Lee and Ora Jane Lee. Herman proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy from 1955 - 1985, and was a retired Master Chief. He served in Cuba, Iceland, Texas, and Vietnam. Herman was married to Frances Lee Revels on April 2, 1958. His interests included wild west history, loved his Yorkies, and would ride the neighborhood with them on his 3-wheel motorbike.
Herman is survived by his wife, Frances; one son, Darryl (Deborah); grandson, Matthew Lee (Elsie); one sister Phyles Abbott; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
A visitation for Herman will be held Monday, June 17, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 AM.
