“Sam” - Herman Talmadge Heape, age 42 passed on June 19, 2017. Sam was born on August 21st, 1974 in Jacksonville, Florida to Wanell Heape and the late Herman S. Heape. Sam is survived by his mother, Wanell Heape; daughter, Alyssa Heape; brother, Kevin Harvey; sisters, Melissa Harvey, Wendy Heape, and Sonya R. Heape.
His love for his family and friends were always above anything else. His favorite football teams were San Francisco 49er’s and Florida State Seminoles. Sam spent part of his life coaching his daughter’s softball teams, working part time at Walmart, Publix and Pizza Hut. His favorite restaurant was Cross Creek, and man he loved those steaks! He was a loving father, son, uncle and brother.
Services will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 with a visitation from 2:00 – 3:00 pm and the funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Jacksonville, FL, 32205. Interment will take place at Riverside Memorial Park.
