To the Crawford Family:
We just found out of the passing of Jake. We are sorry for your loss. We met Jake & Carol at the N. Wilkesboro race. They were friendly and welcoming. We were able to enjoy several races with them along with camping & visiting us in NY. We have very fond memories of them and will miss them both.

I just learned of the passing of Jake and Carol and could not have been more heartbroken. I met them at Charlotte race in the late 80's and soon came to think of them as my adopted grandparents although they were my parents age. Two of the greatest people I have met and loved them dearly. Although we had not talked for close to a year, they were often in my thoughts. Deb and Karen, you may have heard of the policeman in Virginia...that is me. My condolences.

Crawford family, I feel your loss and know your father will be missed by all. Mr. Crawford was a sincere man that also had a good personality, he could be funny and always had an opinion, but I never knew him to offend anyone. My memories of him are good one's and I always respected him.
