Born in Writtle, England to Fredrick Jones and Charlotte Jones (Steel). She loved to garden and decorate her home. Started her career in the medical field working for Dr Young, OBGYN in Florida.
She is survived by her brother Barry Jones, daughters, Cheryl Elias and Wendy Metcalf and step son Stephen Chaney. & grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest in Jacksonville, Florida next to her husband Norman Watkins.
