

Reverend Jack McCullough, age 93 of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away in the early morning hours of December 12th, 2020. Jack was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 20th, 1927 to Selma Olive and Thomas Henry McCullough. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1947 and attended Bob Jones University in South Carolina. He also served in the United States Navy during World War II. Jack married Jeanette McCullough on October 16th, 1948 and the two spent 71 years happily married. Jack devoted his life to serving God, leading Sunday services at many churches over the years, including Belleview Baptist Church, Shiloh Baptist Church, Grace Chapel, and Cedar Bay Baptist Church. In his spare time, Jack loved music, yard work, and studying God’s word.
Departing this life before him were his parents, brother Thomas Henry (TH) McCullough, brother James McCullough, wife Jeanette McCullough, and son Michael McCullough.
He is survived by his brother Gene McCullough, sister Marion Shannon, daughter Sharon (Marc) Stein, daughter-in-law Debbie McCullough (Michael), and grandchildren Melissa (Dustin) Menz, Christy (Richard) Edmondson, Bryan Yeagle, Nicole (Jimmy) Fretwell, Jeffrey Yeagle, Megan McCullough, Kathryn Stein, Jordan McCullough, Stephen McCullough, as well as his great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A viewing will be held at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home at 7242 Normandy Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida on Wednesday, December 16th, 2020 at 10:00AM, with service to follow at 11:00AM. Graveside service will be held at the Jacksonville National Military Cemetery on Thursday, December 17th, 2020 at 9:30AM.
