

She graduated from Charlton County High School in Folkston, GA in 1946. She married Joseph A. Williamson on April 8, 1950, and had 3 children. Unfortunately, she lost her first husband but on June 25, 1988, married William E. Samble, who knew each other from church.
Jackie worked for the Bell South Telephone Company, was an Administrative Assistant at a Doctor’s office but more importantly, was a homemaker, wife and mother.
She loved to read books, observe birds, travel (Colorado, Hawaii and Europe) and take cruises. She was a member of the Murray Hill United Methodist Church.
Surviving her are her sons, Ron, Don and John Williamson (wife Lori); grandsons, Justin (wife Jessica), Mathew (wife Robyn) and Timothy Williamson; and great-grandchildren Emma, Jack, Lucus, Alex and Scarlett Williamson.
Preceded in death by husband and father of her children, Joseph A. Williamson; husband, William E. Samble; and brother, Robert S. Robinson.
The family would like to give a Special Thanks to Angela McEllianey; Christy and Mike Franks and Bill and Karen Samble (son and daughter of Bill E. Samble).
Jackie would like for all who knew her to remember her favorite sayings: “Try to be nice to everyone!” and “Home is where the Heart is!”
A visitation for Jackie will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Followed by a funeral at 10:00 AM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal will occur at 11:00 AM at Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
