Jackie was born in Roseboro, North Carolina, June 30th, 1948 and has resided in the
Jacksonville, Florida area since his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy following
his deployment in the Vietnam War.
Jackie is survived by his devoted wife, Lora Frances Tedder, whom he married 22 years
ago on his date of death January 8th, 1992.
Jackie was predeceased by his mother, Mildred Wright, and is survived by his
stepfather, Otis Wright. Other survivors include his daughter, Jacquie Krausslach of
Callahan, Florida and stepchildren to include Teresa Penton Goodale, Sandra Penton,
Allen Penton, and Clyde Penton Jr. Other surviving relatives include two sisters, Patricia
Simmons and Peggy Wright, six nieces and nephews, and five grandchildren.
Most of Jackie's working days were spent over the road trucking, with his later years
hauling fresh produce to and from the Jacksonville Farmers Market.
Jackie will be missed by a host of friends and family.
