Gayle Roberts passed away at the age of 71 on Sunday March 13, 2022. She was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia & left when she was 2. She grew up in Springfield & later moved to the Southside of Jacksonville.
Gayle enjoyed gardening as well as taking care of all of her many pets.
She was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
Gayle worked as a supervisor for many years at Beaver Street Fisheries. She also worked as a security guard at Merrill Lynch which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Gayle was preceded in death by her father Ed Sewell, her mother Kate Sewell & her late husband Chuck “Charlie” Roberts.
Gayle is survived by her 2 daughters Debbie (Richard) Williams & Vickie (Larry) Carter.
Her grandsons Josh (Devin) Williams, Dalton (Bobbie) Esteves, Bryan Williams & Brandon Barton. She enjoyed spending time with her great grandson Jayce Williams. And also her great granddaughter Peyton Carter & great grandson JJ. Carter.
Graveside services will be held at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at 850 St. John’s Bluff Rd N. Jacksonville, Florida 32225 on Tuesday March 22 at Noon. With internment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
