On August 15, 1942, Jamal was born to Alia and Elias Dirani. He lived in Beirut, Lebanon, where he met and married Alice. Jamal moved to the United States in 1978 and settled in the Jacksonville area in 1981. He had many talents, was an entrepreneur at heart, and a hard-working man that provided for his family. Jamal loved his family, days on the beach, music/dancing, and watching karate and western movies.
Jamal is survived by his wife, Alice; his sons, Elias, Savedra, and Charli; and his grandchildren, Julian, Santana, and Laydee.
Visitation will be held at 11 am, followed by the funeral at 12pm Friday, March 4, at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville FL 32205. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
