You are missed...We love you and think of you every day.

Two years ago today was the last time I heard your voice. If only I could turn time backwards. I see you in the littles more every day. We love you.....

As I think about you during these next few days, all of the fun we had throughout our time together plays like an endless reel. You were silly, quick-witted, and caring. I remember your drawings, smile, our trips with friends, and how you gave me the shirt off of your back because I was cold. You were the epitome of chivalrous. I hope you have found peace and can see and watch over all of your children. Pleasant journey, my friend.

With tears in my eyes and a thickness in my throat, I read a eulogy for you as your friends, family, and even teachers from Damien, Dakota, and Devin's school came to witness your departure on the ever flowing waters of the ocean. Godspeed James.

We spread your ashes today bubba. Carmen and I are pretty sure you would have laughed at the way the two of us handled that situation. :)
You were always there for me even if we were night and day I knew you would always protect me. You left me in a world where we have so many supportive friends and our family has been so strong, but it won't be the same without a kiss on the cheek from my big brother. I promise we'll take care of your babies I know what kind of daddy you hoped to be for them. I guess this is goodbye...but I'm not quite ready for that yet so I'll just say I'll talk you soon when I look at the stars. Forever the three of us---we made that promise to mom a long time ago. Love you always.

My heart breaks for your family every time I think of your passing. They all love each other so much I am most certain they will in time heal. They will never forget you or the ways you touched their lives and most of all the love you have for them in abundance. Because of them your children will know you and remember you always. May you be at peace.

James, I will think of you often. I will remember you as the little boy, the young man and as the man who became a loving husband and father. On days when the rain pours down and touches the windowpanes, I will think of you knowing you are in the heavens. On days when I walk on the beach, I will watch the mighty ocean ebb and flow from the beach knowing you loved the beach and this is the last place we left your earthly self. I will look into the eyes of your children and continue to have a piece of you in each of them. You are loved and we will miss you every day. Even though you are not here on our earth, know you remain in our hearts and please watch over us from the heavens. Say hi to my little brother, your Uncle Mike for us. We will be there some day with you. Save me a really good spot!

James, I finally got to meet the precious gifts you and my sister share.... Those children are beautiful! You are loved by so many people. May Carmen, your children and the rest of your family always feel your warmth in the sunset, your laugh with the wind, and your love in the sunrise. Peace be with you forever and always with your family and friends....
