James Canty, 69, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014. He is survived by his loving family, wife Karen, son Jamie H. Canty, daughters Susanne Yepez and Linda (Mike) Bowdin, step-daughter Jessie (John) Monte, brothers Patrick Canty and Danny Canty, sister Rhonda (Jimmy) Farmer, father in law, Clinton Bacon, brother and sister in law, Maurice and Patricia Bacon, nine grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. James was predeceased by his parents; James and Virginia and brother Mike Canty. James loved anything outdoors especially fishing and gardening. The visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00pm. The funeral will be held the following day Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 10:00am.
