James Davis II

James graduated from Ed White High School in 1990. He worked for Winn Dixie for 35 years. He started as a bag boy and finished his career as Produce Manager. His attention to detail and work ethic led to a successful career.

James found joy in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He especially loved attending concerts and movies with his long-time girlfriend, Denise Withers. His other passion was attending wrestling matches. His fun hobby was collecting Funko Pops.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jim and Pat Davis of Henderson, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Erin and Curtis Patten of Douglas, Georgia; girlfriend, Denise Withers of Jacksonville, Florida; nephew and wife, James and Nancy Cherubini of Waycross, Georgia; and his uncle and aunt, Joe and Debbie Maddox of Laneville, Texas. James was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Laverne Maddox and Grace and Monroe Myers; his precious niece, Brittney Cherubini; and his aunt and uncle, Mary and Ken Willingham.

James will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him, including a host of cousins, friends and co-workers.

A visitation for James will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
