Jeanette A Brown

Jeanette A. Brown, age 86, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. Jeanette was born June 27, 1926 in Evanston, Indiana to Oswin and Agnes (Whittman) Engelbrecht. Jeanette graduated nursing school in 1947 and spent her entire career as a nurse in the heath field and helped many people with her loving words and care. In her spare time Jeanette loved to sew clothing and make quilts for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles G. Brown, one son Frederick Charles Brown, one grandson Karl Gordon and one granddaughter Jennifer Freeman. Survivors include her three sons Gregory Alan Brown (Claudia), Stephen Dean Brown (Maria Roma Claudo), John Randal Brown (Bonnie); four daughters Cynthia Ann Gordon(Bill) , Charlene Kay Freeman (Terry), Frieda Mae Brown McAvoy, and Tina Marie Kent; two brothers Paul and Kenny; six sisters Polly, Judy, Juanita, Margaret, Ruthie, and Doris; sixteen grandchildren Jason Pennington, Elsa Brown, Shakaren Brown, Christina Brown, William Edison Gordon Jr., Tracy Diane Dean (mike), Zoe Maria Brown, Christian Vonn Brown, Charlie Burgess, Amanda Carole Freeman, Branden Thomas Freeman, James Charles Manasco, Gregory Montana Lucas (Amy), Jennifer Marie Erb, Tonya Marie Kowkabany, and Charles “Ty” Kent (Jennifer); ten great grandchildren Lauren, Darrin, Dillion, Taylor, Kaeli, Julian, Allysa, Gabby, Kimberly, and Devyn. Family will receive friends and family on Sunday May 5, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Hardage- Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Graveside Services will follow visitation at 2:00 pm Monday, May 6, 2013 at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817.
