Jeannette C. Gurka, age 61, went to be with her Lord and Savior December 10, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. Jeannette was born December 21, 1951 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Robert and Frances (Long) Campen. She was preceded in death by one brother Bobby Campen Jr. and one sister Rhonda Campen Flury. She was a member of Faith Temple Assembly of God, Red Hat Society in Orange Park, and was also a Mary Kay consultant. She previously was employed by General Electric Corporation. Jeannette will be missed dearly by her loving husband of thirty years Jerry Gurka; one son Michael Peisker; her parents Robert and Frances Campen; two brothers Rick Campen (Terri) and Rudy S Campen(Karen); three sisters Jessica Campen Rainey (Robbie), Beth Campen Meisles (Paul), and Lisa Campen Pupo (Tony). A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm at Faith Temple Assembly of God, 6561 Firestone Road, Jacksonville, FL 32244 with Pastor Gabe Trevino officiating.
