Jerald J. Hartnett, age 82, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Jacksonville, Florida. Jerald was born June 12, 1930 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to John A and Eleanor (Waring) Hartnett. Jerald served during the Korean War and was a veteran of the United Sates Air Force. He is preceded in death by wife Dorothy Maturo, parents and four brothers John, Joe, Donnie, and Tommy. Survivors three daughters Deborah (Donald) Bromiley, Donna (Brian) O’Donnell, and Dawn (Lakeland) Gillespie; three sons Jerry Hartnett, Tommy ( Theresa) Hartnett, and Timothy Hartnett; three brothers Eddie Hartnett, Francis Hartnett, and Bobby Hartnett; two sisters Eleanor Cockkraft and Betty Cornell; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Cremation is under the directions of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
