Married to Jack Paulk Jr. for over 40 years, they built a strong, loving home, raising three children: Nelda Monroe, Charles Paulk, and Sandra Leon. She was preceded in death by her husband, all five of her siblings, her three children, and her granddaughter, Jessica Paulk.
She is survived by her three grandchildren, Angie Sweat, Jack Leon, and Stephanie Leon, along with four great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Arias, Lucien Paulk, Brandon Rogers, and Emma Williams. Her love and guidance will live on through them.
A woman of deep faith, Jewell was a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and later Cedar Creek Baptist Church. She also dedicated decades to Montgomery Ward and Denny’s Discount Clothing, always bringing warmth and kindness to those around her.
Jewell’s life was a testament to resilience, grace, and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 11:00 am, at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
