He is of the Baptist faith and a retired U.S. Navy veteran of 23 years and 6 months. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Dianne R. Knight of 42 years married; sons John G. Knight, Jr.; Donald F. Knight and wife Pat; daughters Linda Davis and husband Jim; Christina McCullough and husband Vance; 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Town and Country Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2011 located at Jones Road Baptist Church 2506 Jones Rd. Jacksonville, Florida.
Burial will follow to Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Florida.
