John Gregory Verderane, 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2020 with his wife by his side after a brief illness. He resided in Jacksonville, FL and is formerly from New York, NY. John served in the United States Air Force as a welder. Following his release from the military he worked as a welder at the Jacksonville, Shipyards. After serving briefly on the Daytona Beach Police Department, John was hired by Anheuser Busch where he remained for twenty-three years. John’s interests were varied and ranged from scuba diving, offshore fishing and boating to classic cars, hot rods, automobile racing and motorcycles. Cars were his passion. John will be remembered most for his quick wit and sense of humor. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Darlene, children Amanda (Clint) Williams, Megan (Ben) Hinson, Chris Verderane, Gina Caulkins, grandchildren Cole and Luke Hinson, Kayleigh and Alex Williams, Robert and Bailey Lynn Caulkins.
