Joseph C. Szabo Jr., 74, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. He enjoyed reading, selling autographed books as well as driving all over the United States and playing poker. Joseph is survived by his wife, Peregrina, two sons, one daughter, 3 stepsons, one half-brother and three grandchildren. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation for family and friends will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 6:00-8:00pm. The funeral service will be on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 10:30am with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
