Josephine L. Saunders, 92, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born November 6, 1921 to William and Alice Norris in Sands, NC. Josephine loved spending every waking moment with her family, cooking, gardening, attending Hillcrest Baptist and she was a great Mother-in-Law. She is preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, William, survived by one daughter Cindy (James) Corbitt, endless grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation for family and friends will be held in the chapel on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 10:00-11:00am. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am in the chapel with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
