Joshua Lee Christenson, 32, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away December 26, 2017. He was an amazing husband and father to 3 beautiful ladies; Becca, his wife, Anya his older daughter, and Nova his “Mini-Me.” They were the highlights of his life.
He was also a Sailor and very proud to be an Aviation Ordinanceman. He served 14 years at NAS-JAX. This did include several deployments that took him away from home. It was at these times that he relied on his “other” family, the Brotherhood of Aviation Ordinanceman.
He is survived by his wife Becca, daughters Anya and Nova. His loving parents Steve and Deanna Christenson and his brother Dustin (Megan) Christenson of Brainerd, Minnesota. His father Gary Oliveto and step-siblings Gianni and Gara Oliveto of Moundsville, WV. He was loved by many including grandparents Neil Christenson and Betty (Arthur) Stiff, aunts and uncles: Sherry (Marv) Schmaltz, Kathy (Jeff) Kollmann, Debby (Scott) King, Terry (Jo) Nolan, Greg Christenson, Sue Jefson, Scott (Mandy) Christenson, and Eric (Tana) Christenson. He was also close to his cousins as he was growing up; Tina and Tara King, Tom Jefson, Kate and Jordan Schmaltz, Gabe and Elizabeth Christenson, and Vicky Schaffer. He was preceded in death by his Uncle Mark Danzl, Grandpa and Grandma Ron and Virginia Danzl, and Aunt Cindy Gapinski.
He was a remarkable man that touched many lives. When you think of him…and you will: keep a smile on your face and a giggle in your heart!
